INTRODUCTION

National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT) was established by Ministry of Tourism, Government of India in the year 1982 to co-ordinate and regulate the growth and general advancement in the development of hospitality management education through its affiliated Institutes. The Council has been responsible in providing professional and skilled human capital to the hotel and tourism industry through its programs.

In 2002 onwards, NCHMCT is offering the 3-Years Bachelor Degree programme in Hospitality and Hotel Administration (B.Sc.HHA) and 02 years Post Graduate programme on Hospitality Administration (M.Sc. -HA) which is now in recognition by Jawaharlal Nehru University(JNU), New Delhi through its affiliated Institutes.
